The Place

La Villa, 1450m a.s.l., a village with 1000 inhabitants, lives since the 1930ies increasingly from tourism. At the beginning especially summer tourism, with the construction of the ski lifts (the chairlift to the Col Alto was the first in Italy) mainly winter tourism. But the principal attraction are clearly our unique Dolomites - UNESCO World Heritage. Villa Alba is located 100m from the ropeway to the Piz La Villa (connection to the Sellaronda) and has direct view to the World Cup Giant Slalom slope "Gran Risa". The starting line of the "Maratona dles Dolomites" is also just 100m away. The village-center is located around 300m from us and easily reachable on the sidewalk.
